Normac was founded by Alphonse Norkum & Gerald W. MacDonald

Shop/office location was in Schumacher near the ONR (back then)

1968
Gorf was founded by President, Alphonse Norkum
1972
Gorf Office was built on 11 acres of land off Hwy 101 in Porcupine Ontario backing onto Bobs Lake

Original number of employees ranged from 20-80 people dependent on the scale of projects at hand

1974
Shop was built attached to main office

1 addition of shop size was 80 x 140

1975
An additional 80 x 40 shop space was added
1977
East annex addition 40 x 60 was built
1982
Mark Norkum appointed President
