Steam Locomotive #70 returned home!

We at Gorf were so honored to be apart of the Train and Vault refurbishment at The Whitney Parkette.
Steam locomotive #70 has made its return home on Aug 6, 2024. Throughout this project we at Gorf learned how special the community is. We loved being able to help restore such an historic and special monument.
A big thanks to DJC’s Renovations Inc. for your work on the vault.

Today, we had the honor of hosting George Pirie for a visit at Gorf. It was exciting to show George our Galloway infrastructure and display how Gorf can support the Northern Ontario mining industry!
At Gorf we firmly believe that utilizing our local resources can help build a better North.
